Young people need Scouts more than ever. Our programmes give them the opportunities to get active, explore nature, have fun learning new things, and make a positive impact on their communities.
Last year, Squirrels became the first new age group to be launched by Scouts in 35 years. The programme caters for 4-6 year olds and has been a huge success with 700 Groups – or Dreys – opening across the country.
The programme was started with the core focus of supporting communities in areas of deprivation and giving the skills and experiences so many missed out on due to the pandemic. So far, 700 Groups – or Dreys – have opened across the country.
Our aim now is to recruit 12,000 volunteers and expand the programme, but to make this happen we need you to support Scouts.
