My Story

My name is Lucy and I am a Scout at 1st Whitchurch in Cardiff. I am going to walk 1.5 miles every day between now and 11th December. Over the next 38 days I will walk a total of at least 57 miles. Some days I might even walk even longer! Please sponsor me to help me fundraise for the scouts in need. Thank you.

COVID-19 is the biggest crisis we've faced in a generation

Now, over 500 Scout groups across the UK - many of them based in communities that were already made vulnerable before the virus hit - are struggling.

If these groups close, thousands of young people will miss out on all the life-changing skills and experiences being a Scout can bring, precisely when they need us most.

That's why we're calling all Scouts (and the people who care about them) to join us in a sponsored, virtual #RaceRoundTheWorld to raise vital funds at this vital moment in our history and keep our Scouts groups open.
