7th Lichfield Scout Group is helping to save UK Scouting.
COVID-19 is the biggest crisis we've faced in a generation
Now, over 500 Scout groups across the UK - many of them based in communities that were already made vulnerable before the virus hit - are struggling.
If these groups close, thousands of young people will miss out on all the life-changing skills and experiences being a Scout can bring, precisely when they need us most.
At the 7th we are incredibily lucky that we have inherited a really well run group and we are able to survive in these difficult times, but we feel that we should try to help those who are less fortunate than ourselves.
That's why we're calling all Beavers, Cubs, and Scouts (and the people who care about them) to join us in a sponsored, virtual #RaceRoundTheWorld to raise much needed funds at this vital moment in our history and keep our Scouts groups open.
