About

Scouts need your help!

COVID-19 is the biggest crisis we've faced in a generation.

Now, over 500 Scout groups across the UK - many of them based in communities that were already made vulnerable before the virus hit - are struggling.

If these groups close, thousands of young people will miss out on all the life-changing skills and experiences being a Scout can bring, precisely when they need us most.

That's why we're calling all Scouts (and the people who care about them) to join us in a sponsored, virtual #RaceRoundTheWorld to raise vital funds at this vital moment in our history and keep our Scouts groups open.

Every penny we raise matters. We are asking for a £1 donation in support of our cause and ask that you share our fundraising page with as many people as you can.

Here are some examples of how your miles and money could really make a difference:

- £20 could pay a month's membership fees for one young person to join Scouts and experience fun, adventure and gain skills for life

-£60 a month could pay rent on a hired venue allowing a section to meet indoors, and giving 60 young people the chance to experience fun and adventure while gaining skills for life.

- £120 could pay for a whole year of adventure for one young person – that’s 365 days spent developing skills for life!

- £160 per month could allow a Scout Group to buy equipment to deliver fantastic hands-on activities to a whole group of young people. That’s 60 young people all gaining skills for life.

Because, whatever the weather, Scouts stick together.

Even when we're (two meters) apart.

Your support means the world, and we can't wait to race all the way round it.

THANK YOU!
